DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT PHUENTSHOLING

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / NJP Railway Station, drive to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan.
Complete immigration formalities and check-in at the hotel.
The evening is free for leisure and exploring local markets.
Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

DAY 2: PHUENTSHOLING TO THIMPHU (APPROX 6 HRS DRIVE)

After breakfast, drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital, passing through picturesque mountains and valleys.
Check-in at the hotel and relax.
Visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue, Memorial Chorten, and Tashichho Dzong.
Explore Thimphu’s local markets and handicraft emporium.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.

DAY 3: THIMPHU LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, explore Thimphu’s top attractions:
- Changangkha Lhakhang (oldest temple in Thimphu)
- Motithang Takin Preserve (to see Bhutan’s national animal)
- National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, and Textile Museum
- Simtokha Dzong (the oldest fortress in Bhutan)

DAY 4: THIMPHU TO PUNAKHA (APPROX 3 HRS DRIVE)

After breakfast, drive to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass (10,200 ft) for breathtaking views of the Eastern Himalayas.
Visit Punakha Dzong, the most beautiful fortress in Bhutan, and the Suspension Bridge.
Take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple).

DAY 5: PUNAKHA TO PARO (APPROX 4 HRS DRIVE)

After breakfast, drive to Paro, a valley town known for its breathtaking landscapes.
Visit Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong) and the National Museum of Bhutan.
Explore the Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples.

DAY 6: HIKE TO TAKTSANG MONASTERY (TIGER’S NEST)

After breakfast, embark on a trek to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Bhutan’s most iconic landmark.

After descending, return to the hotel and relax.
Evening free for leisure and shopping.

DAY 7: DEPARTURE – PARO TO PHUENTSHOLING / SILIGURI DROP
